The Purpose Chasers Podcast has hosted some incredible guests, but none have impacted my journey more than Hal Elrod, bestselling author of The Miracle Morning. In 2019, he joined me for Episode 44, a milestone conversation that showed how daily discipline and the SAVERS framework could transform anyone’s life.
Now, six years later, Hal returns in Episode 78 of the Purpose Chasers Podcast, and this time our conversation dives even deeper. We’re talking fear, resilience, faith, and what it means to believe that your best is yet to come.
Back in 2019, I set a bold goal: land Hal Elrod on my show. That vision became a reality in Episode 44 of the Purpose Chasers Podcast, where Hal broke down the SAVERS routine — Silence, Affirmations, Visualization, Exercise, Reading, and Scribing.
I shared how applying The Miracle Morning framework helped me ditch distractions, focus my mornings, and fuel the growth of my business. Hal also unpacked The Miracle Equation and showed how unwavering faith + extraordinary effort is the real formula behind every “miracle.”
Fast forward nearly six years and Hal came back for Episode 126 of the Purpose Chasers Podcast, and honestly, this may be the most vulnerable and real interview we’ve ever released.
Hal shared the struggles of the past five years, fear, fatigue, even questioning his purpose. But he also shared the breakthrough reframe guiding his next chapter:
“What if everything I’ve done so far was just the warm-up act, and my best is yet to come?”
That line is a game-changer, and it sums up the entire theme of Episode 126: resilience, purpose, and stepping into Act Two of life.

Hal’s impact hasn’t slowed down. In fact, the Miracle Morning ecosystem is bigger than ever:
The Miracle Morning Book Series — 2M+ copies sold, translated into 34 languages.
The Miracle Morning Movie — free on YouTube.
The Miracle Morning App — used daily by tens of thousands, combining journaling, affirmations, meditation, and habit tracking into one tool.
Whether you’ve read the book, seen the film, or downloaded the app, Hal’s mission is the same: elevate the consciousness of humanity, one morning at a time.
The Purpose Chasers Podcast isn’t just about interviews — it’s about real conversations that move people into action. Both of my interviews with Hal Elrod prove that.
Episode 44 shows where it all began: a young entrepreneur fueled by The Miracle Morning.
Episode 126 shows the comeback: a seasoned mentor reminding us that even after fear, fatigue, or failure, the story isn’t over.
This is why you should subscribe on Spotify, follow @thepurposechasers YouTube, and join the Purpose Chasers community: we don’t just chase purpose, we live it.
The Hidden Cost of a Transformed Life No One Talks About
Here is something this conversation brought back to the surface for me.
Coaches, consultants, and purpose-driven entrepreneurs do transformational work every single day. They hold space, they ask the hard questions, they walk people through fear and into their next chapter, exactly the kind of breakthrough Hal described in Episode 126.
But most of them never document it.
The client has a breakthrough moment. The session ends. Life moves on. And that transformation, the specific, emotional, real story of what changed for someone, stays invisible. That is what I call the Silence Tax: the compounding cost of having real results and zero documented proof that those results happened.
Hal Elrod built a movement by capturing what works and putting it into the world in a form other people could use. Books, a film, an app, a community. The principle behind The Miracle Morning is not just that the routine works. It is that Hal proved it worked by letting thousands of people tell their story.
That is Documented Reality. And it is exactly what most coaches are missing.
If you do work that changes people, your clients have a story worth capturing. The free Happy Check-List at thehappycheck.com/checklist gives you the exact framework to start collecting those stories today, including the Masterful 3-Question Framework and the scripts to activate your last five clients right now. For coaches who want the interviews, the editing, and the full Testimonial Waterfall built for them, thehappycheck.com/serviceoffers is where that starts.
Your clients are already living proof. The question is whether anyone can see it.
