After launching his first book in 2017 and getting burned by a marketing company that overpromised and underdelivered, Mark left his decade-long career in therapy to master marketing, branding, and business growth.
What began as a mission to help others heal from their past, evolved into a movement — guiding creators, coaches, and business owners to transform their stories into scalable success. Over the last seven years Mark has built, scaled, and exited multiple companies, driving 3–5x organic growth, $5.1M+ in a sales contract, and millions in new revenue across industries from trades to creative entrepreneurship.

The Story Behind The Purpose Chasers
Mark Crandall’s story began long before he ever became an author, therapist, or marketing consultant.
Removed from his biological family at age three and placed in foster care, Mark spent years navigating institutions, addiction, and the internal chaos of unprocessed trauma. Yet, within that darkness, he began crafting a new story — one of transformation, not victimhood.
Through years of therapy, coaching, and study, Mark learned the truth he now teaches thousands: “How you talk to yourself is how you show up in the world.”
After earning his Master’s in Social Work, Mark spent over a decade as a licensed therapist, guiding others through the same inner shifts that changed his life. But something unexpected happened in 2017: after launching his first book Eulogy of Childhood Memories (now pulled from the internet), a marketing company overpromised, underdelivered, and left him burned on $18,000 in a flopped webinar.
That experience became the catalyst for his next transformation.
He left the therapy room and entered the marketing world full time — determined to blend human transformation with business strategy.
From Healing to Scaling
The Purpose Chasers was born in 2017 *as Mark’s first step into purpose-driven entrepreneurship — a platform to help creators, coaches, and leaders rewrite their story, reclaim their confidence, and build lives aligned with their purpose.
Soon after, the dexamand for his systems and business insight led to the creation of Scale to Sale Consulting, where he applied the same internal principles of healing and awareness to external results — growing companies by 3–5x, *leading multiple multi-million-dollar sales, and training COOs and creators alike to scale with integrity.
