One Time Weekend x Soundcheck Studios: A Festival Ready Movement
One Time Weekend Headlines Soundcheck Studios
From early support slots to back-to-back sellouts, One Time Weekend (OTW) didn’t just play Soundcheck Studios—they built something there. This past Saturday, they officially headlined Soundcheck Studios in Pembroke, MA, one of New England’s most respected live music incubators. It wasn’t just another booking; it was a milestone. And Soundcheck CEO Andrew agrees:
“They’ve been putting in the work for years, and they’ve earned every single person that walks into this room. This headliner slot is just the beginning. I truly believe they’re ready for the main stage, festival, amphitheater, whatever’s next. OTW is built for it.”

The Homie Collective Campout
August 21–24 · Moses Scout Reservation · Russell, MA
Few festivals align with OTW’s spirit like The Homie Collective Campout—and this year, it’s family reunion time. They’ll share the woods with longtime friends Lespecial, who will deliver their signature heavy-electro-prog set. But the real twist?
Introducing LIMINOID: Lespecial + Yheti
That’s right, two forces collide in a new collaborative performance: LIMINOID, where Yheti’s bass wizardry meets Lespecial’s precision chaos. This is no DJ drop-in. It’s a full-on set built from the ground up. And OTW? They’ve been jamming shows alongside Lespecial since the early days, (Sam I hears since 8...) so don’t be surprised if a guest sit-in hits before the weekend’s out. Finding very little on this project I'm awaiting updates.

The Purpose Chase: How Soundcheck Studios Came to Life
Before Soundcheck Studios became New England’s jam incubator, it was a vision in Andrew’s head. He didn’t want to open a bar with a stage. He wanted to build a musician-run home base for rehearsals, workshops, and ticketed shows—with professional sound, pro-level respect, and a no-ego vibe.
“We saw what was missing—bands had nowhere to prep, nowhere to launch. So we built the thing we wished existed. Soundcheck was never just for us—it was for everyone.”
Today, Soundcheck hosts national touring acts and homegrown bands like OTW that turn into sellouts. It’s a scene incubator, a launchpad, and proof that musicians building for musicians changes everything. Looking forward to a full SoundCheck Feature with Andrew!

What It Takes: Produced by Nef on Main Room Mentality
Nef has produced in rooms with DJ Premier, Statik Selektah, and more. He knows what separates hobbyists from pros:
“You don’t ask for respect in those rooms—you earn it. That means being prepared, on time, and knowing how to deliver when red lights are on. OTW walks in with that energy. They’re not guessing—they’re executing.”
This isn’t just a band that plays well live. It’s a band that’s learned to build a song from scratch, translate it on stage, and impress anyone watching—from fans to engineers to execs. Learn More About Nef
